Michael Jackson – Rest in Peace

I’m so sad, I still can’t believe that Michael Jackson is dead :{

I found out this morning and all I’ve been doing since then is posting comments about him on various sites like youtube, twitter, facebook even send one to vh1, switching between watching the news and listening to his songs, singing along (I don’t know the words much) wishing I could dance like him.

I did try the ‘moon walk’ step when I was small (epic fail) lol.

The first time I heard about M.J. was when I was hardly 4 years old (idk exactly hen was the first time or first song but...) on my dads cassette (the ‘Bad’ album), I didn’t like him first but then I was only 4, I started liking his music as I grew up.

All I want to say is that he was one of the greatest singer and dancer that ever lived. I prayed that his soul rests in peace and may God forgive his sins. My prayers go out to his family. He was a great icon to many and the world has lost a great legend. This is my tribute to the King of Pop – R.I.P.

First post...

   Hi I am Andrea from India! I’m 19 years old will be 20 soon =(

   As much as I’ll miss being a teenager I want to turn 20 too, that’s because as soon as I celebrated my 16th birthday I’ve been fretting about how I turn older every b’day and won’t be a teenager, so I’m half looking forward to my b’day and half wishing that it doesn’t come too soon.

   Anyways since this is my first blog post ever… (yay finally!) I thought I would introduce myself and what my blog is about.

   So as I said I’m 19 and in my last year of college, I’ll be graduating And turning 20 :/

   I live in a city, close to Bombay and while my life here is very different from somebody of my age in another part of India, I would like to share what it’s like living here. It’s not always like they show in the movies and sometimes it is. I want to write about how it is to live in a country which has such a huge culture, so many different languages, different religions, different food, movies, etc.

   Most people just assume that we all speak one language and all of us belong to the same religion, dress the same everywhere when that’s not even true. However a majority of the people are Hindus. So this is what my blog’s going to be about – living in India!

   Please subscribe! =)

   More posts soon! And thanks for reading… xD
